Peter Wasem has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry first working for a design/build firm near Philadelphia followed by architectural firms in Boston, New York and Princeton before establishing his own practice. Project experience in both the private and public sectors include Housing, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Academic, Schools, Law Enforcement, Historic Preservation, Aquatic Environments and Residential Design. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Temple University with architectural licenses in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mr. Wasem is a native of Switzerland, has won a national design competition sponsored by Metropolis Magazine and is the recipient of a 2004 AIA New Jersey Honor Award for Excellence in Architecture, as well as a 2005 Smart Growth Architecture Award from the NJ Office of Smart Growth and AIA New Jersey. A former Board president at the Waldorf School of Princeton, he has a keen interest in learning environments and their long-term effects on the next generations.
